Union Street and Church Street in Inverness set to close for 5 nights

Two Inverness city centre streets will be closed to traffic overnight from Monday next week, it has been announced.

Traffic will be restricted on Union Street and part of Church Street with to enable access to a BT manhole, with works being carried out between 6pm and 5am.

Highland Council confirmed that the closure will impact Union Street over its entire length and Church Street between its junction with Union Street and its junction with Queensgate.

A diversion through Academy street and Friars Lane will be available to drivers.
