‘Body has been found’ on rough ground just outside Aviemore

There are unconfirmed reports of a body having been recovered in rough ground just outside Aviemore.

It is understood that the find came in difficult terrain in the Lynwilg area round about 2pm yesterday afternoon (Friday).

One report says that an all-terrain vehicle was used to convey Police Scotland officers to the area but nothing official has been released at this point.

The Courier has asked the police for a statement and will have more as soon as confirmation is received.
