Staff and students in Inverness are advised that campuses in the city are closed today due to the ongoing bad weather.

UHI Inverness shared the news via social media this morning.

A spokesman said: "As a result of the severe weather warning, both the UHI Inverness campus and the Scottish School of Forestry will remain closed today, to ensure the safety of our staff and students.

"Classes will be moved online where possible. Please keep in contact with your lecturer regarding online classes. We expect to be open as usual on Thursday, January 19."
