Police attended a collision near Inverness Airport.

Two 4x4 vehicles have been involved in a collision near Inverness Airport this afternoon.

Emergency services including police officers and an ambulance were called to the scene although it is not known whether there are injuries.

The incident happened at the junction of the A96 and B9039 at 3.05pm.

The road was reported to be clear a short time later.
