Two to appear in court in connection with £100,000 cannabis seizure on the A9

Police recovered the drug from a vehicle which was stopped by officers south of Inverness on Friday afternoon.

Two men, aged 45 and 43, have been arrested in connection with the recovery and are anticipated to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court today.

Detective Inspector William Nimmo said: "We are committed to tackling crime involving drugs in our community.

"I would urge anyone with information which could help prevent criminal activity to pass it on to us on 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
