Two people taken to hospital after 'disturbance' in Inverness

A man and a woman were taken to Raigmore Hospital after a "disturbance" in Inverness yesterday lunchtime.

A 32-year-old man was arrested following the incident in Woodlands Brae.

Police are investigating what happened.

A force spokesperson said: “At around 12.40pm on Monday, we were called to a report of a disturbance in the Woodlands Brae area of Inverness.

“Officers attended and a 29-year-old woman and a 32-year-old man were taken to Raigmore Hospital.

“A 32-year-old man has been arrested and enquiries are ongoing."

It is understood the 32-year-old man who was arrested is the same man who was taken to hospital.
