Landmark Forest Adventure Park is set to open two new attractions next year.

The popular theme park in Carrbridge will become home to Scotland's first ever aerial net challenge called NetworX.

The first part of a new 'Ancient Forest Adventure' is also to be opened in place of one of the oldest visitor attractions on the site.

A Landmark spokesman said: "Over the last six months we've been working with a Dutch company called Funcha to design and instal Scotland's first ever aerial net challenge.

"Next season, families will be able to ascend into the trees as they make their way around this brand-new, bouncy net adventure.

"The course has been carefully designed so that it will be available to all our visitors from three to 103 years old.

"Whilst these are normally stand-alone attractions, with a dedicated, substantial, admission fee, NetworX, as it is called, will be included as part of the standard Landmark ticket price."

The spokesperson continued: "The project to replace our 50-year-old Red Squirrel Nature Trail is also progressing well.

"We plan to open phase one of 'The Ancient Forest Adventure', in spring and will be revealing more details of this project soon."
