Two men charged after police seize drugs with an estimated street value of £9000 in Inverness

Police in Inverness have charged two men following the seizure of cocaine and cannabis with an estimated street value of £9000.

Officers recovered the haul around 7pm on Friday following the execution of a misuse of drugs warrant at an address in Drummossie Road in the Stratton area of the city.

Sergeant Michael Clark, from the Divisional Flexible Policing Team, said: “We are committed to targetting those causing harm to our communities by tackling and disrupting the supply of controlled drugs in the Highland and Islands.

"Members of the public have a vital role in reporting information to us and I would urge anyone who has any information or concerns in relation to the supply of drugs in their community to report the matter to us."
