Two Inverness teenagers in court in connection with assault and robbery charge

Two teenagers have appeared in court facing multiple charges including for an alleged assault and robbery.

Nathan Bell (19) and a 17-year-old co-accused, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared in private at the city's sheriff court.

Bell, of Inverness, faced charges of assault and robbery, attempted robbery and assault.

He made no plea and was committed for further examination.

The 17-year-old, also from the Highland capital, faced charges of assault and robbery, attempted robbery and a breach of bail conditions.

He also made no plea.

Both were remanded in custody and will appear in court again within the next eight days.
