Two flights linking Inverness and Heathrow cancelled today
An incoming and outbound flight for people travelling to and from Inverness and Heathrow today have been cancelled.
The cancellations are the latest in a period of disruption for flights connecting London and Scottish airports, with the matter raised earlier this week at the House of Commons.
Although the 7am British Airways service from Inverness to Heathrow left at 7.17am today, further BA flights between the destinations this morning are not happening.
Passengers for the 8.45am Heathrow-Inverness flight and the 11.10am Inverness-Heathrow flight have been told to contact the airline.
In relation to both cancellations, BA stated: "Like other airlines, due to adverse weather conditions across the UK and Europe, we've made some minor adjustments to our schedule.
"We've contacted affected customers to apologise and offer them options including rebooking onto another BA flight, with an alternative carrier, or a full refund."
The 7.35pm Heathrow-Inverness flight is currently scheduled to operate.
