"I've been going to Belladrum every year since 2004 when my parents first took me when I was six," said Evan MacRae.

"The people and the atmosphere really make it for me, year in year out the same people, rain or shine, all turn up and have a great time.

"I know people who I rarely see but always meet at Belladrum, the socialising at the festival makes it so special with all these close friends and family.

"As a kid it was always great getting to go to all the child entertainment and activities. Later on as a teenager packing into a car and heading out for the weekend with friends to camp together and enjoy some of our favourite artists was always one of the most anticipated summer events."

But for Evan, Belladrum played an even bigger part in more recent years.

"In 2014, through mutual friends, I met my now fiancée. Very possible we may not have ever met if it weren't for both being at Belladrum that year! We've gone to Bella together every year since."

Evan has some great answers when it comes to things he would recommend for other people heading to Belladrum to check out.

"My top recommendation for any first time Bella goers would be to check out all the local food vendors, from wood fired pizza, stovies to fresh Scottish seafood.

"There's a quality hit there for everyone.

"Also for anything more, there's the VIP area for some extra special drinks and gourmet food.

"On the music side, I always recommend going to see as many acts you've never heard of before as you can.

"You never know what you might find, I mean you might happen upon the next Ed Sheeran like Bella fans did in 2011!"
