ScotRail has announced that trains are not running between Inverness and Muir of Ord following a landslip.

In addition services on both the Inverness to Kyle of Lochalsh and Inverness to Wick lines are also not running.

A ScotRail spokesman said: "We're unable to run trains between Inverness and Muir of Ord for now due to a reported landslip.

"We're trying to arrange for buses to run between Inverness and Dingwall. Due to the weather, these won't be able to serve Beauly, Muir of Ord or Conon Bridge.

"If you're waiting at one of these stations, please use the Help Point so we can arrange transport for you."

A Network Rail Scotland spokesman added: "We've had a report of a landslip at Clunes, between Inverness and Muir of Ord.

"The line is closed while we send a team to check the area."

Trains north and west of Dingwall have been cancelled due to the landslip which was just after 1pm.
