Traffic restrictions in place on Kessock Bridge and Dornoch Bridge due to windy conditions with all lanes affected

Traffic restrictions which affect two Highland bridges are in place due to high winds.

Traffic Scotland has reported all lanes are affected on both the Kessock and Dornoch bridges on the A9.

It has been forecast that south or south westerly winds will strengthen today with gusts reaching 60-65 mph quite widely, perhaps reaching 70 mph in a few locations for a time through the afternoon.
