This extraordinary line-up of internationally-renowned musicians and poets from the Highlands and beyond, including outstanding Ukrainian artists, will get together for a special event.

With an interweaving story told through words and video, the show will also feature stories told by Ukrainians and Highlanders of how the people of the Highlands have engaged with and supported Ukraine.

The beauty and accomplishment of each performance, delivered in the Highlands’ premiere auditorium, will provide the audience with an unforgettable evening of music, song and spoken word.

Producer of With Love To Ukraine, Matthew Zajac, said: "This will be a celebration of art and civilisation, reflecting the values Ukraine is fighting for in the face of brutality.

"It is a unique performance that organisers feel is not to be missed.

"With no sign of an end to Russia’s attempt to destroy Ukraine, it is vital that we continue to support the Ukrainian people and maintain public awareness of their plight and the

extraordinary bravery Ukraine continues to demonstrate in its defence of our democracy and freedom.

"With Love to Ukraine is my way of doing this and ensuring that the people of the Highlands of Scotland have an opportunity to express their solidarity.

"Scottish and Ukrainian artists will come together in a celebration of art, love and defiance. Слава Україні! Slava Ukraini!”

Proceeds raised from the event's ticket sales will be donated to charities and groups providing humanitarian support, with love, to Ukraine.

"Money raised from With Love To Ukraine will go to: UK-Med; AUGB Edinburgh; Black Isle And Highlands Refugee Network Support/KSD Highlands For Ukraine

UK-Med’s community fundraising lead, Hannah Billing, said “This is a fantastic opportunity to bring together the creative community in the Highlands to celebrate tolerance, understanding, and generosity.

"We are thankful to Matthew and all the artists involved for choosing to support our work.”

UK-MED: has been working in Ukraine since March, in 13 locations around the country. It has provided immediate and continuity care to thousands of people; delivered essential supplies and medications; provided essential training to healthcare staff, first responders, and civilians; and built a field hospital with surgical and in-patient capacity.

AUGB Edinburgh: was founded in 1946 to bring together the Ukrainian Community in Edinburgh and across Scotland following its displacement at the end of World War II. Over the intervening years, AUGB Edinburgh has kept alive and promoted the culture of Ukraine in Scotland.

Since the start of Russia’s illegal invasion on February 24, 2022, AUGB Edinburgh launched its #HelpUkraine appeal that has supported the collection and distribution of humanitarian aid to Ukraine.

To date, AUGB Edinburgh has organised and contributed to 20 lorries of aid to most parts of Ukraine. Closer to home, AUGB Edinburgh has been supporting The City of Edinburgh Council, Scottish Government and partner agencies to support Displaced Ukrainian People arriving in Scotland.

Weekly, AUGB Edinburgh has been delivering a programme of activities to ensure their social, welfare and informational needs are met and are supported to integrate within their local communities.

Black Isle And Highlands Refugee Network Support/KSD Highlands For Ukraine:

When Ukraine was invaded in February of 2022, a small group of people in the Highlands decided to “go into action” with them and help wherever that help was needed, with no judgements or conditions attached.

That small band of volunteers is not only sending aid directly to those civilians suffering the tortures and emotional turmoil of war in Ukraine but also supporting those Ukrainians coming to the Highlands to try to find safety and sanctuary for their children.

Some are in family homes, many more trying to catch onto some degree of normality within the four walls of a 'foreign' hotel room – in a country they know supports them' but where they still have no emotional security or certainty over their future.

Black Isle and Highlands Refugee Network Support, along with charity KSD Highlands, are working in any way that is required to provide practical as well as sympathetic, compassionate assistance to our new Ukrainian friends on a day-to-day basis.
