THREE people were taken to hospital after a two-vehicle crash on the Black Isle yesterday evening.

The accident happened on the A832 between Tore and Munlochy on the peninsula.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 6.20pm on Wednesday, May 31, police were called to a two-vehicle road crash on the A832 between Tore and Munlochy, Black Isle.

"Three people were taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness for assessment. One of the three was required to remain overnight for treatment.

"Enquiries into the crash are continuing.

"The road is now open."
