Three arrests after break-in thefts in Nairn town centre, says Police Scotland

THREE men have been arrested in connection with break-in thefts in Nairn town centre.

Police attended the scene on Thursday morning following a report of break-ins on the High Street and King Street.

A police spokesman said: “We received a report of break-ins to and theft from premises on High Street and King Street in Nairn, around 8.10am on Thursday, 10 August, 2023.

“Three men aged 37, 36 and 25 have been arrested in connection and enquiries are ongoing.”

Police officers could be seen in the town centre on Thursday as they investigated the incidents.

The alley next to Ozzy's Fine Dining and The Caley Takeaway, which links High Street and Falconers Lane, was cordoned off for a time, and a number of police vehicles were parked in the area.
