This morning's Inverness to Manchester flight has been cancelled.

The Loganair service was expected to leave the Highlands at 6.30am and arrive in Lancashire at 8am.

It is unclear why the flight is not operating.

The other flights connecting the airports today are currently scheduled to go ahead as planned.

A spokesperson for Loganair said: "Loganair apologises to customers for the disruption and all customers affected have been contacted."
