Once in a Lifetime atmosphere as Texas wowed the Inverness crowd at Bught Park last night, with front woman Sharleen Spiteri singing their classic hits

Inverness crowds were wowed last night as Texas played an absolutely amazing show.

Held at the Big Top Tent at Bught Park, the lively and receptive audience were treated to over ninety minutes of the Scottish bands greatest hits.

Sharleen Spiteri rocked the crowd with her Glasgow-soul that made everyone feel like they were home, humour and humility as she led the stage with numbers that had everyone singing their hearts out.

Opening the show with 'I Don't Want a Lover' with its iconic intro, the band had the whole audience signing along within seconds.

Sharleen Spiteri was amazed at the Inverness crowd who she said were "absolutely fantastic."

Singing numbers such as Once In a Lifetime, Halo, The Conversation, Summer Son and Inner Smile the band had everyone captivated.

The band included numbers from their new album such as Hi and Mr Haze which needed no introduction for their loyal fans.

To say that the atmosphere was electric is an understatement.

Support acts included Lucy May Walker and Kevin Davy White who themselves had the lively crowd going with their mix of original music and classic covers.

Texas brought the Highland crowd together in a unity of music and celebration after what has been a crazy few years.

Finishing their set with an encore which included Black Eyed Boy and closing with an Elvis mash-up the Inverness crowd were sent on their way with smiles on their faces and a whole lot more adoration and love for the band that began their career 35 years ago.

They will certainly be In Demand to come back to the Highland capital once again.
