IT was a case of going, going... gone for two brave members of staff at Tesco Inshes.

People manager Morven Morgan and post office employee Leah MacIver kindly submitted to the barber’s clippers courtesy of Inverness’s City Barbers and had their heads shaved in aid of Stand Up to Cancer.

They both answered the call for staff ideas on how they could do their bit for the cause and were all smiles after their bravery paid off to the tune of £2500.

The store’s customer experience manager, Kevin Reid, said: "We have a Facebook group where we asked people for their fundraising ideas and Morven said she would have her head shaved as long as someone else from the store did it as well.

"That’s when Leah came in and they set an initial fundraising target of £2000 which has now been totally surpassed thanks to donations from colleagues, family, friends and customers in store.

"We’d like to say thank you to everyone who contributed to such a great cause."
