Motorists are being advised of temporary road closures and restrictions in place tomorrow during the Inverness Classic Vehicle Show.

The 11th edition of the annual event takes place from 11am-3pm and is organised by Inverness Business Improvement District.

A fascinating variety of vehicles from through the decades will be on display for the public to view across the city centre, many accompanied by owners who will be more than happy to answer any questions from curious onlookers.

There will also be a dedicated display of military vehicles that will be based around Inverness Castle.

Adding a splash of extra colour and excitement to the day, the event ends at 3pm with a parade of vehicles down the High Street, led by the Northern Constabulary Community Pipe Band.

The following roads will be affected:

Hamilton Street closed from its junction with Academy Street to its junction with Eastgate between 7am and 3.30pm.

Church Street closed from its junction with Friars Lane to its junction with Queensgate between 7am and 3pm.
