Temporary road closures to enable Armistice Day to be observed at Inverness Town House

A brief ceremony will be held tomorrow morning at Inverness Town House to mark Armistice Day.

It marks the anniversary of the end of World War I in 1918.

A two-minute silence will take place to remember those died and the flag will be lowered.

Representatives of the Inverness branch of the Royal British Legion Scotland will join civic leaders.

Pupils from Millburn Academy will do the readings.

Bridge Street, between its junction with Bank Street and High Street, will be closed from 10.58am to 11.05am.

High Street, between its junction with Bridge Street and Castle Street,will also be closed along with Castle Street between its junction with High Street and View Place.
