Motorists are being warned of temporary road closures in Inverness to enable maintenance on a railway bridge plus water mains replacement work.
Traffic will be temporarily prohibited from using Brown Street both this and next weekend to enable essential maintenance work at the railway bridge by contractors working on behalf of Network Rail.
The closure will start at the junction of Brown Street with Anderson Street and will extend south-west to its end.
The restrictions will be in place between 10pm tomorrow and 8am on Sunday 15 August and from 10pm on Saturday August 21 to 8am on Sunday August 22.
Traffic will also be temporarily prohibited from using Montague Row for two weeks.
It will be closed at its junction with Tomnahurich Street (forming part of the A82 Dunottar – Inverness Trunk Road) and its junction with Fairfield Road.
The closure is to allow water mains replacement works to be carried out.
The restrictions will be in place from 8am on Monday August 16 and will remain in force until 6pm on Friday August 27, inclusive.
