Highland Council announces road closures in the city centre as Kirking of the Council parade will take place on September 11

A CEREMONIAL parade will see several roads closed in Inverness city centre in the interest of public safety, Highland Council has announced.

Due to the Kirking of the Council procession taking place in the city centre on Sunday, September 11, the High Street at the junction between Eastgate and Bridge Street will be closed, with closures continuing on Castle Road.

Closures will be in place on Sunday, 11 September 2022, and will only apply between10.30am and 11am and from noon until 12.30pm.
