A 14-year-old's lockdown head shave has benefitted Highland charity Leo's Pride.

Archie Reid's "super-proud" mother, Morven, posted pictures on Facebook.

The challenge began when she teased him about the state of his hair and joked that he should shave it off.

Initially he refused, but when she suggested that he should do it for the charity he agreed.

The shave took place on Saturday at 5pm and it was live streamed.

He has already raised £445 – his original target was £100 – and to make a donation visit here.
