A Highland business is officially the "best small estate agency in the UK" after it landed two coveted awards in a UK contest.
Tailormade Moves' directors Morna Eadie and Karine MacRae Simpson headed to London recently for The Negotiator Awards 2023, where they won the title for best small estate agency of the year in the UK after seeing off competition from nearly 30 other hopefuls..
They also secured a bronze after placing third in the category for regional agency of the year in Scotland. This was open to agencies of all sizes.
The Negotiator Awards are the UK’s biggest independent awards organisation for estate/lettings agencies within the property industry.
The awards have been established for 15 years, entry is free and the judging panel consists of some of the highest achieving leaders and experts in the property industry.
Morna and Karine said that winning The Negotiator Awards was recognition of a property company’s exceptional standards and an accolade regarded as the pinnacle of achievement in the UK residential property industry. Hundreds of companies and individuals enter each year. It is a gold standard for the customers of those businesses to rely on when choosing an agent or a supplier company.
The pair said: "We are delighted to say we won the best small estate agency of the year in the UK, beating a shortlist of 28 agencies from all corners of the UK, to win the top trophy!
"We also took home a bronze award in regional agency of the year for Scotland. We are beyond proud of this achievement, especially for our hard-working team. For just a small team of 13 in the north of Scotland, we have come so far. We couldn’t have done it without all of our amazing staff and our fantastic clients.
"Thank you again to everyone for all your support."
As well as their two wins, the agency were also shortlisted for the community champion of the year title - which was UK wide.
Their success also came after they were highly commended in two categories in 2022.
