Support service Mikeysline has launched a new call back service to take the place of the Hive Centre during restrictions due to come into force on Boxing Day.
Introducing You Are Not Alone, the Inverness charity has said it will temporarily close the Hive Centre after its service on Christmas Eve.
Sending a strong message to anyone who needs support, it said anyone in need will still be able to talk to someone over the phone until it is able to reopen.
Mikeysline text-based service will remain unaffected by the lockdown - continuing to open every evening, including over the festive and bank holidays.
In a message on social media, it said: "Following Saturday's announcement, we will now have to temporarily close the Hive Centre after December 24 during the lockdown period.
"We will re-open as soon as we are able."
It continued: "In the meantime, we will put in a place a call back service, Mikeysline, You Are Not Alone, for anyone who would like to talk in more detail over the phone during this period.
"We will be open the same time as usual – closed only on bank holidays."
The You Are Not Alone service will be available Sunday to Thursday from 6pm until 10pm, and on Friday and Saturday between 6pm and 11pm.
The message continued: "Our text-based services will remain unaffected by the lockdown, so, please do contact us for any support needs. The service is open every evening, including bank holidays by texting 07786 20 77 55 or by Messenger, Twitter or Live Chat at www.mikeysline.co.uk."
The text service is available Sunday to Thursday from 6pm – 10pm and on Friday and Saturday from 7pm – 7am.
Mikeysline You Are Not Alone can be contacted on 01463 729000, where you will be asked to leave a message.
