Commercial and economic reasons have prompted the cancellation of a planned summer showing of Jersey Boys in Inverness.

Eden Court has told Box Office customers that it will no longer go ahead in June.

A spokesman for the company behind the show said: “Unfortunately Jersey Boys is unable to visit Inverness on the originally scheduled dates due to commercial and economic reasons. The company of Jersey Boys apologises to patrons of the Eden Court Theatre for any disappointment and hope the dates will be rescheduled in the future.”

A spokesman for Eden Court was sorry for the disappointment that this news would bring.

He added: "A member of our ticket sales team will be in contact with you over the next week to arrange either a full refund back to your original payment method or a gift voucher if you would prefer. You could also choose to donate part of your ticket cost to Eden Court."
