The themed party will be raising money to go towards Scott Crichton and Carly Fraser’s efforts for the charity event.

Fancy dress is advised as guests will be dancing away to ‘80s festival tunes with DJ Rubix and snacking on a buffet at Kingsmill Hotel on April 22.

There will also be a raffle, games, an auction and even the chance to win tickets to the Isle Be Back Festival taking place next year at the Black Isle Showground.

Scott and Carly are currently training three to four times a week in preparation for the competition next month.

Scott is especially working hard to beat his brother, who is also a competitor.

He said: “The hospice is a great cause to be doing this for and the Strictly show is always a spectacle around Inverness so the chance to be a part of that was too great to pass up.”

Carly added: “We wanted to do an ‘80s night because Scott just loves a shell suit and I thought if we do this I could wear a bum bag to keep all the raffle money in!

“It’ll be a magic night and I can’t wait to see everyone strutting their stuff!”
