Strathnairn woodland fun day

An Inverness community is hosting a woodland fun day with activities for all the family.

The Community Woodland Gala will take place at School Wood, Farr, on Sunday, May 28, from 10am-2pm.

Free activities on offer include mini orienteering, woodcraft sessions, spinning and weaving crafts and woodland games.

The event, hosted by Strathnairn Community Woodlands, is free with donations welcomed for cake and refreshments, which are available at the School Wood cabin.

Organisers say that parking is limited, so encourage car sharing or active travel where possible. Overflow parking is available at Farr school.
