A week on since his disappearance and there is still no sign of missing Aviemore man Rodrigo Falcon despite extensive searches.

Friends have issued a map of his last-known movements in the early hours of Sunday after he left The Vault nightclub in the village centre.

The map was created by friend Sud Cj and shared on social media.

She posted: "We have put the last known sightings of Rod on CCTV with times into a map just in case it helps jog anyone's memories if you were in the area.

"The last CCTV was on the opposite side of the road from the Premier Inn, and the last sighting by a person was at the Kinakyle cliffs (lit up wall) on the A9 heading south.

"His footprints in the snow then lead down, and across the field on the southern side of the junction (B9152/A9 – the Lynwilg junction) where they then stop."

She added: "There is no way he has travelled this distance without being seen by more people and dash cams."

One hope is that motorists living outwith the area who were travelling on the A9 and the B9152 around the time of Mr Falcon's disappearance may come forward with more dash cam footage if they pick up on the appeal.

Upwards of 100 friends, local business staff and supports have been out each day assisting police, dog handlers and mountain rescue teams since Mr Falcon disappeared.

The search has focused on the south end of Aviemore and Lynwilg area.

Rodrigo Falcon has not been seen for a week after disappearing in the early hours of last Sunday.

The 33-year-old had been out with his good friend Scott Fleming the night he disappeared.

Mr Fleming posted yesterday: "We have been out all day retracing anywhere we think we could have walked. The police and other services are still out searching and we will not give up on you bro.

"Again as always if you have any information please let Police Scotland know if it’s urgent call 999 or if non urgent but possible sighting call 101.

"Thank you again to our amazing community who have come together like nothing I have ever seen before.

"It speaks volumes on how much Rod is loved by everyone here and all we want is him back home with us."
