Star Wars favourites to make Nairn County clash an 'out of this world' day out

AN out of this world treat awaits fans of Star Wars when Nairn Stormtrooper and his friends from the franchise visit an upcoming Nairn County football match – all in aid of a good cause.

Folk will get the chance to meet their "movie heroes from the 70s and 80s" as well as "some awesome Modern Mandalorians" when the cosplayers visit Nairn County's clash at home to Keith on Saturday, April 1.

They will be going around the ground during the match to collect money in aid of Nairn County's Ground Improvement Fund.

The Stormtroopers will be available to meet with fans from 1.30pm onwards, with the match the kicking off at 3pm.

Club organisers are promising a great day for families. As well as the Star Wars favourites, children under 12 accompanied by adults will be able to watch the game for free.
