Services between Inverness and Wick are being cancelled today due to a shortage of train crew.

The 2pm Train from Inverness to Wick has been axed after the 8am train departing from Wick was cancelled this morning.

ScotRail passengers will be able to use their tickets on the bus routes below at no extra cost:

- 25: Inverness - Beauly - Muir of Ord - Conon Bridge -Dingwall - Alness - Invergordon - Tain.

- 25X: Inverness - Alness - Invergordon - Tain.

- 27: Inverness - Beauly - Muir of Ord - Conon Bridge -Dingwall - Alness - Invergordon - Tain.

- 28: Inverness - Beauly - Muir of Ord - Conon Bridge -Dingwall.

- 82: Wick - Georgemas Jn - Thurso

- X98: Inverness - Alness - Invergordon - Tain - Golspie - Brora - Wick - Thurso.
