INVERNESS ghost hunters are on the lookout for a haunted venue for a TV spooktacular.

The Highland Paranormal group want to find an indoor venue for a one-off feature due to air on television at Halloween.

Paranormal investigator Liam Shand said he was keen to hear from people who already believe their buildings are haunted.

Mr Shand said: “We have been approached by the BBC who would like to feature our work and we need to find a suitable indoor location to showcase what we can do.

“We are a small group of investigators who have been working in our spare time over the past nine years.

“We have carried out investigations in castles, hotels and graveyards and we have had very interesting results. We have also carried out investigations in people’s own homes when things are a bit out of control with paranormal activity – so we are open to any possibilities for a venue.”

The group is one of only five in the UK accredited by the Atlantic Paranormal Society and it hosts a number of events throughout the year.

The group can be contacted on social media via Highland Ghosts or by phone on 07753 684182.
