MUSIC lovers won’t be looking back in anger after Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds left city crowds soaring.

Almost 13,000 people piled into Bught Park as LCC Live kicked off their 2019 Live in the City series with a rowdy festival atmosphere and a 90-minute set from the former Oasis star.

Noel led the crowd with typical good-natured grumpiness through a set stuffed with hits from the High Flying Birds and Oasis – including anthems such as Wonderwall.

Highland bands Lional and Neon Waltz got the crowd warmed up before Razorlight produced an energetic 50 minutes prior to Noel.

Nearly 500 people were working on site throughout the night.
