Skerryvore pay tribute after last gig at Inverness Ironworks venue

Skerryvore were in town at the weekend, performing at the Ironworks.

At the close of their performance at the Ironworks, Skerryvore paid tribute to the Inverness venue.

The Ironworks is set to close after plans for a new hotel on the site were approved earlier this year.

Following lthe gig Skerryvore took to social media.

Picturing themselves in front of an adoring crowd they tweeted: "Bittersweet Inverness. Thankful for an incredible night with you, yet so sad to have played our last gig in @IronworksVenue.

"Thanks to all who support the arts by running these venues/coming to shows. Shame that once again live music/culture is sacrificed for corporate gain!"
