The Inverness Courier was given a tip-off that Wagamama - the Asian restaurant chain inspired by the flavours of Japan - is planning to open a franchise in Inverness city.

We contacted the people at Wagamama for comment to see if this was true, and a spokesperson told us they think Inverness is a great city and it would love to open a restaurant here soon.

A customer service director for Wagamama, said:

"Thanks so much for reaching out to us.

"Inverness is a great city and we would love to open a restaurant there soon! We will definitely be in touch if there is anything to update you on."

What do you think? Would you like to see a Wagamamas' opened in Inverness?
