Shoplifter admits two thefts from Inverness stores

The woman is due to be sentenced later this month.

Lorraine Beavis (38) stole alcohol from Home Bargains and the Church Street Co-op on April 4 this year.

She appeared at Inverness Sheriff Court and sentence was deferred until May 19 as she has another shoplifting offence to be dealt with then.

Beavis, of St Margaret's Road, Inverness, was on bail at the time she committed the thefts.
