With the much-anticipated Highland Business Week making a full return next month for the first time in three years, the planners are calling on all those who wish to be involved to get in touch now!

Organised by Inverness Chamber of Commerce, the week-long event will provide the opportunity for business-to-business networking and relationship building to take place.

A focal point within the week is the Highland Spotlight exhibition, which gives businesses, charities and organisations across the region a chance to showcase themselves and connect with others.

If you want to get a stand at this year’s event – take this as your sign to do so!

Macleod & MacCallum (aka Mac&Mac) is a seasoned stand holder at Highland Spotlight, as it likes to make the most out of the event and the opportunity for business connections.

Speaking about Highland Spotlight, Peter Mason, Macleod& MacCallum managing director, said: “Macleod & MacCallum have been attending Highland Spotlight for a number of years and it is great to see this returning after an enforced absence.

“It provides a great opportunity to make new business connections, and to catch up with existing connections, and gives our teams the opportunity to promote the full range of legal and property services that we can provide.

“Highland Spotlight gives a unique opportunity to establish business-to-business links, and to identify future business partners for projects we have in the pipeline.

“It is a great chance to meet other business operators in a face-to-face environment, which is becoming increasingly rare in the online era.

“If you are considering coming along to Highland Spotlight then I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this, as it’s the only event in the Highlands where you can find so many businesses represented under one roof, and it is has always proved to be an extremely useful and enjoyable event which everyone at Macleod & MacCallum looks forward to attending.”

For others Highland Spotlight is a new venture and the 2022 event will be the first they have attended.

This is the case for Inverness-based charity Care and Learning Alliance (CALA).

They are greatly looking forward to their first experience.

Ronald Mackay, head of business development and communication at CALA, said: “We are delighted to have the opportunity to be part of

the event this year.

“We are keen to enhance the awareness of the varied high-quality work we do within Highland.

“We look forward to having the opportunity to chat with and build mutually beneficial relationships across a wide range of sectors, to explore potential for collaborative approaches to community and business needs around childcare and family services.

“Access to high-quality services for children and families is vital for all communities to thrive and as a large third sector childcare organisation we offer a one-door approach to a broad range of Early Learning and Childcare, Family Support and Quality and Training services.

“Our team is continuously looking for new and innovative ideas that we can employ in the future.

“Come and visit our exhibit where our staff will be on hand to share information with you on the high quality and solution focused services we deliver to children and families.”
