Shed lorry load blocks lane of A96 east of Inverness

A SHED load has blocked a lane of the A96 near the Smithton Roundabout, Traffic Scotland has confirmed.

The accident, which involved a lorry, took place about one mile east of Inverness, and has restricted the eastbound lane.

Traffic Scotland has warning of restricted vehicle flows and delays of up to 30 minutes eastbound.

Police Scotland has confirmed that it received a call about the incident shortly before 2.20pm, with the load suspected to consist of soil.
