Sentence for Nairn man who threw bottle of cider at a house

A Nairn man who threw a bottle of cider at a house in the town's High Street and smashed it on the window frame was placed under social work supervision for a year.

Alexander Morris, of Queen Street, was also required to receive drug treatment as part of his community payback order, imposed by Sheriff Eilidh Macdonald.

The 37-year-old admitted at Inverness Sheriff Court slightly injuring the woman occupant by his culpable and reckless conduct on April 11, this year.
