A senior carer at a care home in Inverness had a quick change to put on a show for residents.
Lucia Matheson (19) enlisted two of her friends to put on a mini Highland show to lift the spirits of residents at the care home.
Miss Matheson, who has been a Highland dancer since she was a youngster, decided to put on the show as a mark of respect for other carers and health care staff working through the coronavirus lockdown.
She was joined by fellow dancer Casey Gordon (18) and piper Roddie Hume (19) for the performance at the end of a recent 12-hour shift.
Miss Matheson said: "I knew that all the people we are caring for would love to hear the pipes and to see us dance, so with some careful planning we made that happen.
"Me and Casey both danced to Scotland the Brave, and we were piped by Roddie on Thursday at 8pm to show our appreciation to all key workers at this challenging time.
"Both the staff and residents thoroughly enjoyed it and it certainly lifted the spirits. "
Miss Matheson's mum, Shalini, said: "Lucia does a very hard job in difficult times, and I was so pleased to see that after working a long shift she was still giving to the residents in the home.
"It is hard for people who are in the home at this time when they are not able to have any visitors. So this must have been a real treat for them all."
