A 27-YEAR-OLD Inverness woman who attacked another woman after she arrived at her friend’s house for a confrontation has been ordered to be of good behaviour for six months.

Kiri Bailey, of Craigton Avenue, appeared at Inverness Sheriff Court and admitted threatening or abusive behaviour by engaging in a fight in Carnarc Crescent, Inverness on January 4, 2021.

Sheriff Eilidh Macdonald was told that when the woman appeared, Bailey pulled her hair and punched her several times in the face.

Defence solicitor Josie Donachie said: “Her friend was getting messages from the woman and a fight started when she turned up at the door.

“My client realises it was not the best way of dealing with the situation.”

Bailey was told not to re-appear for sentence on October 27 if she had stayed out of trouble.

Sheriff Macdonald told her she would deal with her leniently in that event.
