Police call off search for today

The search for a missing wildlife photographer in the Aigas area, near Inverness, has been called off for the night.

Officers have been co-ordinating today's search which involved eight members of the Red Cross water search team.

There is no trace of Gordon Dawson (61) from Teannassie, Beauly.

Further searches are planned tomorrow.

Police are encouraging anyone who was walking in the area of Aigas Dam on Wednesday 21 November and may have seen Mr Dawson taking pictures of wildlife to contact them on 0845 600 5703.

Mr Dawson is described as 61-years-old, 5ft 10 ins, of medium build and a shaved head.
