Scottish mental health festival draws to a close in Inverness
AN afternoon of film, spoken word and music marked the conclusion of a festival to support the arts and challenge stigma about mental health.
The Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival Highland was led by suicide prevention charity Mikeysline, which was joined by various organisations for the concluding event at the Bike Shed venue in Merkinch.
It included a short film, introduced by its writer and director Callum Kelsey, plus spoken word and music contributions by Tim Williams, John McLeod and Keith Walker.
Earlier, participants walked from Bught Park to Falcon Square for the annual Walk A Mile In Their Shoes. It was led by the Northern Constabulary Pipe Band.
Inverness MP Drew Hendry and Highland councillors Jackie Hendry and Bill Boyd took part and Scottish Fire and Rescue Service members lined up at Ardross Street.
