Youngsters at Hilton Primary School made a special request ahead of this weekend's Scottish Cup final.

They asked if they could wear Caley Thistle colours to school to show their support as Inverness prepare for the clash against Celtic at Hampden on Saturday.

Margaret Lisle, deputy head at the Inverness school, said: "The staff and pupils at Hilton Primary are delighted to show our support towards Inverness Caledonian Thistle."

"We all had a great day and everyone at the school would like to say a massive 'good luck' to Caley Thistle!"

The youngsters also attached their own personal good luck wishes on to the school fence, alongside a huge banner.
