ScotRail cancels trains over staff shortage on Far North Line

A SHORTAGE of station staff has sparked the cancellation of two trains between Inverness and Caithness.

The 12.34pm Wick to Inverness train. and the 6.31pm Inverness to Wick service have both been cancelled on Wednesday, ScotRail has announced.

"We have requested replacement buses in place for [these] cancelled trains," said ScotRail on its website.
