AS part of the Inverness Science Festival, running from April 29 - May 14, locals will be treated to a scavenger hunt this weekend.

Banners have been popping up across Inverness city centre, teasing what it to come.

The lamppost scavenger hunt is part of the festival's family day on Saturday May 7.

You can pick up an answer sheet at the Inverness Leisure Centre on Saturday, and head to the High Street and Bank Street to answer 22 questions attached to lampposts.

One lucky winner will receive a science hamper, gift voucher or a virtual tour of the Highland Wildlife Park for their whole school.

Meanwhile, at the Leisure Centre, families can enjoy a range of activities and stalls engaging them in the fun of science.

Entrants should email their answers to isf@uhi.ac.uk.
