SCHOOL CLOSURES: Several Highland primary schools hit by power problems, including Avoch, Daviot and Munlochy

Several primary schools across the Highlands are closed today due to power problems.

Avoch, Munlochy and Daviot primaries are among Highland Council schools which won't open today.

Highland Council gives the reason as no water/heating/power on its list of closures for today so far.

It follows storms over the weekend.

Also on the closure list is Kingussie High School (no water/heating/power) and Kinlochleven High School is partially closed due to pandemic-related reasons.
