Santa's sleigh routes and timetable in Inverness announced

Santa is set to make socially-distanced street visits across Inverness in his special sleigh starting on December 7.
A timetable and routes have been published for his first wave of visits while times for other routes are still being confirmed.
As well as bringing festive cheer for youngsters in many neighbourhoods from Balloch in the east to Kinmylies in the west, it is also hoped his visits will raise money for various good causes.
It is being made possible thanks to the help of members of the Inverness Culloden Rotary Club.
Social distancing means Santa and his elves will not be able to give out sweets or to do photographs sitting on Santa’s knee but children could be photographed next to the sleigh.
Also, there will be no door knocking collection but the public are being invited to come out with donations for the elves’ buckets.
The dates and routes are:
Monday December 7 - Balloch:
5.30pm to 6.10pm – Wellside Road, Wellside Place, Braeside Park, Meadow Road, Forest Drive; 6.10pm to 6.50pm – Edgemoor Park, Macleod Road, Torris Road, Cameron Avenue; 6.50pm to 7.30pm – Underwood Place, Culloden Road, Cherry Park.
December 8 – Smithton:
5.30pm to 6.20pm – Smithton Villas, Sinclair Park, Cranmore Drive; 6.20pm to 6.40pm – Resaurie Gardens, Rowan Court, Murray Road, Kenneth Place; 6.40pm to 7.30pm – Smithton Park, Murray Place, Birch Court.
Wednesday December 9 - Culloden:
5.30pm to 6.15pm – Meadowpark Avenue, Meadowpark Terrace, Meadowpark Avenue, Meadowpark Lane, Oakdene, Redburn; 6.15pm to 6.50pm – Lochlann Avenue, Galloway Drive, Walker Crescent; 6.50pm to 7.30pm – Blackthorn Road, Aspen, Alder Place, Hazel Avenue.
Thursday December 10 - Milton of Leys:
5.30pm to 5.50pm – Cedarwood Drive; 5.50pm to 6.40pm – Sandalwood Drive (end of), Elmwood Avenue, Greenwood Drive (end of), Greenwood Gardens, Greenwood Place; 6.40pm to 7.30pm – Chestnut Way, Cypress Place, Larchwood Drive, Larchwood Crescent (end of), Ashwood Grove, Pinewood Drive, end of Pinewood Court.
