The Grinch and Santa continue their sleigh run around Nairnshire this week.

The annual run raises money for deserving local causes and, as well as seeing Santa and The Grinch and their little helpers, youngsters get sweets kindly donated by local businesses and members of the public.

Fireman John McGowan said: "Santa's sleigh is always popular and as well as giving the kids a bit of fun before Christmas the public of Nairn are always very generous and we can put the money towards local charities.

"We've already had a great response this year."

Tonight they will be visiting Auldearn and tomorrow (Wednesday 15th) the sleigh with Donner and Blitzen will be at Merryton and Table Road in Lochloy.

On Thursday, Santa will be visiting the rest of Lochloy, Ardersier and Cawdor on Friday and Nairn High Street, the final day they will be on Nairn High Street on Saturday. Each weekday night they will be leaving the fire station in King Street at 5.30pm
